🪐 Third Culture Tales' storytelling event

On 24th of April 2025, I performed at the Third Culture Tales storytelling event in ClinkNOORD, Amsterdam.

In my story, I contemplated about my intergalactic travelling practise and habitual teleportation between three planets, such as: 🌌dark blue planet with magical lakes, 🐄bright yellow planet with a lot of cows and 🌸green planet with fluffy pink trees.

The essence of the story was to embrace the power of the heart to create new realities and not settle for our current circumstances.

🌭 The Grand Pillow Society's storytelling event "Underdog"

Picture
On 22nd of December 2024, I performed in storytelling event at Grand Theatre, in Groningen.

The theme of my story was about the burdens of breaking the generational trauma and challenging the patterns of our subconscious attachments.

The story was reflecting on my upbringing as an underdog, several desperate attempts to fit in the world of regular dogs and ended with a plot twist and revelational refusal to be defined by reality and instruction manual of becoming a HOT DOG instead!

🦋 Nascosto's storytelling event "Say What?"

In 10th of May 2024, I performed at Toqueur art gallery in Amsterdam.

For my story “Biology, butterflies and sandwiches”, I came up with a methaphorical concept to reflect on internal introspections, by using playful absurdism, as I was describing my journey of transitioning from burned out biologist to opening up sandwich shop.

The story reflected on my complex relationship with love, monogamy and polyamory and included elements symbolising on trauma, love addiction, self-esteem and emotional unavailability.

👩‍⚕️ "Seen#15: Cecilia Fox & Nicole Kuiper" (performance event)

Picture
On 23rd of February 2024, I performed in event called SEEN#15 with Nicole Kuiper at Stichting WEP, in Groningen.
During our presentation-performance called: “Art Scan”, we elaborated on the functionality of artistic suffering and art academy, as both of our art practices are reflecting on dynamics of the art world and accentuating the vulnerabilities of being an artist, while making use of humor and self irony.

*SEEN is a format in which two artists are invited to unite the forces and collaborate for an experimental art event for one evening.

✨ Kunsthuis SYB: 24-hour art residency

On 18th-19th January 2024, I collaborated with Fitjenzia Ulrich during the 24-hour residency at Kunsthuis SYB, in Beestserzwaag.
The residency was truly magical, artistically fruitful and thought-provoking experince, as we did several performative video experiments, enjoyed meals together, turned to card readings for inspiration, did some stargazing during our midnight walk and had many heart-to-heart conversations.
Influenced by the dark and romantic athmosphere of the building, I channeled my internal crazy ex-girlfriend persona and filmed some dramatic scenes for music video about my imaginary boyfriend's funeral.

🎻 DIHAN’23 #5 (experimental performance event)

Picture
On 14th of December 2023, I performed at DIHAN's performance event at Antiquariat Berger & Vries, in Groningen.
After collaborating for few months with Can Demren, we performed live three of my original songs:
👻 "Dead Inside" is about mental health and seeking for internal peace.
💃 "Post-Woman Era" is about pressures of being woman.
🦄 "Magical Creature" is about struggles and self-doubt of being artist.
For me it was first time perfoming my music live and I am grateful for this artistically valuble collaboration.

📚 Anke Coumans' book launch: "The Artistic Attitude"

On 9th of November 2023, I was honoured to be part of Anke Coumans' book launch event, in which next to Simona Kicurovska and Bart Lodewijks, I gave a short presentation about my own artistic attitude and afterwards we had short panel talk hosted by Ewa Scheifes. For me being an artist, means encompassing these three main characteristics:
🎨Vulnerability to put yourself out there
🎨Sensitivity towards surroundings
🎨Naivety to believe in art’s ability to save the world

Anke Coumans' book "The Artistic Attitude" explores artist's role as a change-maker, and not merely image-maker and is available in English and in Dutch.

💃 The Arcade Collective: “INCLUDING STRUGGLES. The vulnerable fringes of professionalism.”

Picture
2nd of November 2023, I was part of The Arcade Collective's perfomance event in stichting WEP, in Gorningen, which offered multiple of perspectives to explore the struggles that the artistic professions involve.

*The Arcade Collective is playground for art criticism that organised performative art events and other forms of reflections.
Currently the collective is inactive, but it was very valuable and intensive experince of artistic collaboration thoroughout 2023, which offered me artistic safety and critical conversations to imagine new directions in art world.
The Arcade Collective members: Elisabetta Cuccaro, Maartje Terpstra, Klaudija Yliate, Dinnis van Dijken.

🏆 "Cecilia Fox' Art Award" Ceremony

On 21st of June 2023, I inflirted into Minerva Art Academy Graduation show at De Toekomst, in Scheemda to award Sanny and Nicole Kuiper with "Cecilia Fox Art Prize."
The award ceremony was critical remark to poke fun of the underlying political agendas of giving out art awards and corrupted power dynamics exsiting in art world.
Therefore as an owner of "Cecilia Fox Art", my political orietation was to highlight two bold, hillarious female artists, who push the boundries of the art world.

💘 DIHAN '23: No 2: Settle (experimental performance event)

Picture
On the 13th of April 2023, I participated in the DIHAN performance event at Antiquariat Berger & Vries, in Groningen, with the performance called ‘Divorce is the deepest form of love’, in which I dissected the emotional landscape of going through divorce and presented outline for the music album that I am aiming to create.
By reflecting on my divorce and and humourously sharing the "list of 12 boyfriends", that I would like to have, this performance was also starting point for experimenting with stand-up comedy.
